Publication Ethics for Researchers/Authors

To ensure that only original and high-quality research is published in our journal, IJMRAR, we adhere to the guidelines proposed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (CoPE). Authors who wish to publish their research in our journal must strictly adhere to these best practices and guidelines, which include the following key points:

  • Originality: All research content must be original, with plagiarism not exceeding 20% in the content.
  • Publication and Submission: Research content must not have been published elsewhere or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • Language and Clarity: Research content should be free of spelling and grammatical errors and must be presented in a clear, honest, and transparent manner.
  • Ethical Conduct: Research should be conducted in an ethical and responsible manner, complying with all relevant legislation.
  • Data Integrity: Researchers should present their results truthfully, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Methodology: Clear descriptions of research methods must be provided to enable others to confirm the findings.
  • Accuracy and Fairness: Research content must be accurate, consistent, complete, and free from biases.
  • Avoidance of Inappropriate Content: Research content must not contain misleading, hateful, crime-inspiring, pornographic, defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, vulgar, or inappropriate material.
  • Malware-Free: Research content must not contain or promote electronic malware/virus for destructive purposes.
  • Attribution: Proper attribution should be given to the original content when referencing data, designs, methods, or ideas.
  • Copyright Compliance: Authors should adhere to applicable copyright laws and conventions, reproducing copyrighted material only with appropriate permission and acknowledgment.
  • Author Roles: In cases of multiple authors, the roles of each author during the research should be disclosed.
  • Funding Disclosure: All sources of research funding/endorsements, including direct and indirect financial support, supply of equipment or materials, and other forms of assistance, should be disclosed.
  • Privacy: Personally identifiable information of individuals other than the researchers should not be included without their consent.

If violations of these guidelines are identified during the review process or at any point before or after publication, the entire research article will be removed/unpublished from the journal.

These guidelines ensure the integrity and quality of the research published in IJMRAR, maintaining high ethical standards in academic publishing.
